If you have not already read, IPG decided that they would not accept the Amazon terms for Kindle e-books. IPG President, Mark Suchomel, wrote in an email to his Sales Force:

"The expiration of the Kindle agreement became an opportunity for Amazon to try to renegotiate all terms, including those for purchasing print titles. On behalf of our client publishers, we declined to accept those new terms, and as a reaction, Amazon decided to delist our electronic titles."

The reaction among Indie Booksellers was one of support and gratitude toward IPG and their client publishers.
